NORDIC FLOORBALL BECOMES PART OF WESPORTS
Malmö, October 1, 2024 – WeSports Scandinavia AB (“WeSports” or “the Company”) is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of Nordic Floorball AB (or “Nordic Floorball”). Nordic Floorball is a specialist retailer in floorball equipment, with a well-established physical store and e-commerce platform. The acquisition is an add-on acquisition to WeSports' floorball specialist Klubbhuset, and the company will be integrated under this brand.
Nordic Floorball was founded over 10 years ago by Peter Lundgren, Johan Rosengren, and Peter Hensdal, in Stockholm, Sweden. Since then, the company has developed a strong reputation, with a popular store in Täby, Stockholm, alongside an established online presence. Nordic Floorball is a trusted partner for several floorball clubs in the Stockholm area, including Ackers, Danderyd, Hässelby Hawks, Lidingö, and Vaxholm.
With the acquisition of Nordic Floorball, and following integration with Klubbhuset, WeSports will enhance its floorball offering to both teams and individual players. The combined companies will benefit from greater inventory availability, faster service, and expanded event support – leveraging the synergies created through WeSports’ infrastructure.
